Hello PCFreeNow.COM Users, I told you many times and I am repeating my words that I have a lot of experience in PC Gaming/ Playing video games since 1996, so I can write much better reviews than anyone on this game Afterdream Video Game. Let, Today we will talk about this Video Game and I will share my experience with everyone.

About This Game:

AfterDream is a heartfelt play about love, loss, and regret. It reminds us how essential it is to inform the humans we care about. I’ve enjoyed Jesse McConnell’s previous titles (especially Distract and Distract 2) and this one didn’t let me down. I am disagree with the steam of ‘psychological horror’ and ‘horror’ tags. Although there are nightmare-like sequences, there are no jump scares or violence. I would call this a ‘story-rich’ mystery with a heart!

It’s a traditional 2-D adventure that uses a handful of keys (WASD, E, Q) and doesn’t support a mouse or controller. It’s not an ideal interface, in my opinion, but the game was worth the struggle given my lack of left-handed dexterity. The puzzles are very reasonable and mostly rely on environmental clues or inventory items. There is a stealth scene at the end but it was pretty easy.

Afterdream Amazing Video Game:

Afterdream follows a lady who has currently misplaced her father. Working with a counselor, she goes through a series of dreams to help her process her feelings. The art is phenomenal, the soundtrack is spot-on, and the story is one that most of us can relate to. There are no voiceovers, which I thought was a smart design decision. A cool mechanic is the camera, which lets in you to alternate positive components of the surroundings by taking a picture. Your camera’s flash also provides a source of light in dark scenes.

For completionists, familiarity with the details of the achievements should be enough to get 100% on your first pass if you’re paying attention.

The game does not automatically save on exit. Instead, each section has a designated place to save your game, on demand. The only drawback is that the same save file is used. This means there is no ‘circling back’ for lost achievements. If you don’t get them the first time, you’ll be starting a new game to try again. My first pass took a little over 4 hours. My second time took a lot less because I already knew what I had to do.

Overall:

Afterdream Download is an amazing game. I highly recommend Afterdream to those who enjoy adventure at a leisurely pace and don’t mind shedding a few tears along the way.
