WWE RAW Judgement Day TE (Video Game) is a wrestling show based on the sport’s namesake television show, the World Wrestling Federation’s flagship show. A player can control one of forty-five WWF stars, including The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Triple H, and more.

The event features a tag team mode, where four wrestlers can compete against each other. It also includes a superstar mode, which allows the player to create and craft his own wrestler, taking him through a series of matches on his way to the WWF crown.

It mimics many of the game show details found in the original show, such as each wrestler’s input sequence, the “replay” feature, the ability to attack opponents and disrupt their path to go to the ring, and so on.

Since wrestling games are different on PC than on consoles, WWE Raw makes the best sense, although the PC version probably only offers the most well-known and now mandatory game modes. A little more variety would have been really nice here.

The concept of capturing the audience first and then the rest of the match is really good, however, the limited power potential of the wrestler takes a tremendous toll on the match. Furthermore, the low-resolution 640×480 thumbnails are annoying, but the star-struck is fully realized, even if the images often cause involuntary smiles.

The missing ring atmosphere could have been partially compensated for by the soundtrack, but as commentary and music are missing from the fight, the sense of mediocrity somehow falls by the wayside.

The graphics of WWE Raw Judgement Day Total Edition are really amazing. From the adrenaline-filled opening to the pumping music and detailed crowd, the whole thing is awesome right from the start. The combat itself doesn’t let the game down either – it’s reliable and doesn’t lose detail in the match, although the available moves are limited. Overall I recommended this game play and enjoy !!
