This is a great ARPG. This game is the Gauntlet of my dreams. The action is so fluid, I never felt like I just clicked number two to fire off some special. Instead, I have a combination of energies that flow beautifully into each other in battle. Most powers don’t have a cooldown you can spam all day it’s the amount of energy you have that becomes the limiting factor. And it has such a weird rhythm with using your inferior powers to build up your special powers and then using your special powers like crazy to kill some big mobs. At first, it may seem shallow that you shouldn’t pick up your upgrades as you level but after a while it’s the active slots that become the limiting factor and you start honing in on specific builds. Each character has several different incredibly different elements and you can swap between them at any time.

The game really seems to focus on the interesting concept of how to get you to quickly level up with quick loot and sell faster and have more fun. The graphics are amazing some of the best I have seen reminding me of the first time I saw Diablo 3 and what a huge jump it was. Everything is very bright, especially with the 4K textures. Great co-op a game. It has a couch co-op and network. Perhaps most of all I always feel obnoxiously OP while playing this game. Even though I’ve fought some tough monsters I’ve died several times every time I level up and I feel like oh wow now I’m kicking ass! If you’re a Diablo or Grim Dawn fan, looking for something similar but completely remarkable and unique, check this out.
