About This Game:

Ghostrunner 2: Deluxe Edition is a phenomenal sequel to the original, it’s worth the wait. GR1, but with better mechanics – a great parry to execute enemy units, a system that resists dash charges instead, and an upgrade tree that doesn’t require you to talk Tetris for 5 minutes to find the optimal skill. Also, they added a rough word that I haven’t tried yet, but so far I’ve heard nothing but good things. The story is not the same as the first but it is better and keeps you entertained. There’s nothing wrong with a story that keeps you engaged, just consistent action.

Most of the levels are almost open-world style, requiring you to activate nodes in remote areas of the map to reach the main objective. It’s a nice breath of fresh air compared to the GR1’s linear styling. Also, they added a bike and I don’t think it fits the Ghostrunner game, but it makes the second to last level INCREDIBLY fun.

Pros:

Faster, bigger environment and more diversity, many new powers
It’s more open and the bike is better in the open
Perfect parry and death completion

Cons:

Bugs and bugs after the rules and during the boss
The handling of the bike seems to float a bit
