Village Monsters is a beautiful city life game set in a forgotten world. You play as the only person in a community (mostly) of fellow monsters.

This is a casual experience. There is no pressure to do too much but to discover and do. The characters are unique enough that they feel different from other games like this one I have played before and can be entertaining in an amazing way but in pure ways. As the saying goes, as it is, the game still feels a bit naked, in that the dealings with the NPC are limited to chatting with them, and buying sales from stores.

The gameplay

The gameplay is so fun, and I did not expect it to be well written and so refined. It looks like it is 99% made up and playable (less error and lack of content) but it is really fun. Music !!! Unlike other sounds of RPG sims that I found strange and annoying, the VM sound is jazzy and very quiet. Looks like you are in a comforting cafe.

The characters are different, and interactions with them are never boring. For EA, this game really amazes me with how addictive it is and how big it is. Success, dev!

Village Monsters Good Video Game

First 2 Hour Products: A lot of things are still missing but the early arrival is for it and it is clear that a lot of time and effort has already been spent on it. Already it is very interesting in itself and the monsters remind me of the wonderful memories of exploring and talking to the monsters in Undertale.

Nice relaxing game, no pressure. Some fun dialogues from other characters and a nice twist on the classic farm/life scene. It took me a second to realize that you can buy things from the store, and that way you sow the seeds, but now that I have found my brain, I am looking forward to putting more into it. Love the fishing controls, obviously, it is still in the early stages so there are a few minor flaws but something I have not seen so far to get ahead in the development of my game. Looking forward to seeing what comes out of Village Monsters in its first official release!

I think it only took an hour to play. I love it. Love the graphics, love the open environment, This is a very casual, relaxed, timeless, stress-free game. You are a man in a city, and you just do things. A simple but magical setup is based on the characters you meet and the things you can do. As an old woman who plays games, this is truly a new experience. I have tried other “life” games, but this one is perfect.
