Vermilion PC Game is fantastic !! I’ve always wanted to try Bob Ross’s technique after watching his series, but he never had room and didn’t always have the funds to buy an easel, canvas, and paint. This app allows you to paint like Bob Ross, you get a sieve, a knife, a 2-inch brush, a fan brush, and many other brushes. You can mix the paint on the palette. Canvas and brushes also react to pressure when you paint.
There are many other painting VR apps out there but they seem to focus primarily on 3D printing, it’s a proper oil painting, wet on wet, and what I’m looking forward to. There is an option to load a reference image or video while you paint.
It takes some time to get in the habit of pressing on different brushes to get the right effect, like reflection/tree/mountain but the result I got in my first attempt was great even though I have never painted like this before. Was
This should be my favorite VR app right now. Nothing really goes away for me at the moment.
