Checking your stats periodically is a good way to stay out of trouble if you’re unsure of the cost of an action, and having a backup plan in case you run out of splints is the survival of any good adventurer. Hunger system

This is one of the most easily overlooked aspects of Analia’s world travel and heavily punishes those unfamiliar with it. Running out of food can be more dangerous than a gang of bandits, especially if you have a trip to the nearest town. You won’t start starving any sooner, but starving will stop your natural health regeneration, and healing drafts are rare in these countries. Stock up when you can, even if it means you’ll lose some valuable loot, or you won’t live to use it!
