Source of Madness game has an inspiring and unique style that keeps you amazed by the random designs of the enemy while still treating them differently. It makes me feel a little new, a little more serious. I like how the environment reacts to your spells and weights and the impact of your hit feels impressive. Of course, there are still many areas that are not completely polished, but the giants are encouraging.

So far I can say that the game offers great gameplay, it can be played with controllers or keyboard and mouse, both work very well. The controls are responsive and it feels really satisfying to walk around and rain spells on the enemies.
After ten or more playthroughs I can already say that this game will provide almost unlimited replay value with mechanically crafted levels and monsters. The end of the levels is not created by the final owner’s method, although the AFC. The source of Madness graphics is absolutely beautiful, honestly, it looks like a living Cthulhu painting.
After playing for a few minutes, you can clearly see that a lot of things have gone into creating something that looks completely out of this world. It is refreshing to see something different from the usual saturated matte dirt of Pixel Arts Rogolites, everything is clear here. The design of the characters and monsters is impressive, the fights against such abominations can be quite epic and intense (which you can break BTW). The source of the madness really deserves the approval of the Leo Craftin seal. Music and sound effects fully appreciate the game, it plays an important role in a really disturbing and interesting environment.
Outstanding indie rogue-lite featuring a very unique art style.
A roguelike platform is based on foot shooting, art assets courtesy of machine learning algorithms, enemy designs per machine run through more machine learning. Everything seems wrong and the enemies are all disgusting. Really lags behind in understanding madness and horror topics. Despite the side scholar’s point of view, some of the things I’ve seen are really painful to look at. More please, I like it.
It’s like a side-scrolling bully where you’ll roam the territories, fight monsters, get loot, and unravel secrets. When you die you will get a new character and will be able to offer the blood of the slain monsters to unlock the permanent upgrade. Fighting is fun with you releasing destructive magic that tears your enemies apart. You and your enemies are physically moving so there may be some panic but it works in order. One of the big things I think should be included is being able to turn enemies around and confront you.
The movement is floating but handles very well, the platforming has not been disappointing or disturbing and so far no damage has been done. The art is amazing. These areas are created by method, or at least randomly, and creatures are created from AI, in which a variety of semi-recognizable parts are combined into perfect Lovecraftian monstrosities. The Tower of Knowledge is particularly eye-opening and is somewhat like a Gothic church passing through the 5th dimension. This is a very capable game that looks amazing and is doing something very unique. If you love Lovecraftian horror, like weird action thugs, and/or want to see something weird and uniquely successful, get this game.
