Sir Whoopass: Immortal Death is a simple and fun RPG game that essentially doesn’t take itself seriously. He is placed in the shiny boots of Sir Whoopass, who escapes from prison and leaves Earth to save it from the evil clutches of The Immortal, but to do this, he must travel the world and clean out prisons, which are a host to an energy orb that powers the barrier surrounding the villain’s castle in the sky and along the way collects 3 artifact pieces that can whoop The Immortal.

Only just started, but already thoroughly enjoying Sir Whoopass: Immortal Death. I’m sure I’ll have more to say in time, but for now, this one is fun, funny and entertaining, and recommended. This game suits the style of both casual and hard-core style players.

Story:

So far, the story is funny and has interesting dialogue. The poet speaks well. This gives immersion and tone a solid foundation. I find myself already looking for the wonderful things included in the extra descriptions and the best actions, and I am not disappointed. There is a definite layer of detail in the game that gives life to the environment.

The music goes well with the game. From the title screen to the gameplay, I’ve enjoyed the music so far.

Character alignment is fun and unique. A unique take on weapons and leveling, though you remain familiar enough to learn quickly, makes the experience more enjoyable.

My biggest plus in the game so far, being early in the game, is the gameplay. I get towards jumping well enough to do most jumping puzzles I’ve encountered. The combat is fun, with interesting quirks that are definitely unique to my experience.

Sir Whoopass takes a different approach to content that breathes new life into the tired and played recipe of today’s games. There are puzzles and jumping sections that give dimension to the game, as well as weapon combat and magic. This place has a lot of interesting interactions as well.

The game takes RPG cliches and throws them out the window, you know those red health potions you drink to restore your health? Well, not here, here you eat gnomes to restore your health. And one might wonder, how does one fill such a wonderful device?

By smashing barrels, boxes, and containers! Every once in a while a gnome will pop out of one and run away from you, so if you want to survive you better make a hobby out of chasing gnomes. There is also the question of whether or not you can swim, in every game you play you will jump in the water and see if it is possible. Well to put it bluntly, no, you can’t swim in this game, because any water is full of sharks that will kill you instantly.

Conclusion:

I recommend this game to all types of players. The casual and the hardcore can find an avenue that suits their taste. There’s a funny story and it’s well introduced, with more than enough features to pass up if you just want to get to the action. Definitely worth the experience, for those still on the fence. Just as well, I wouldn’t be surprised if a major production company eventually gets wind of the game and likes the IP.
