Scarlet Hollow PC Game is the adventure of a visual novel that was recently released in early access. This means that out of a total of 7 projects, Episode 2 is now available. The first event has been free since September last year and can be found here. Please note that according to this review.

Absolutely was blown away by the content and quality of this game. This art is performed by Abby Howard, a graphic artist with some worthy names. Written jointly by her and her husband, Tony Howard-Arias. I know that from now on I will work closely with them.

This game is a perfect combination of humor, horror, and mystery. I’m fascinated by the characters and the story and am pleasantly surprised at how much the game really engulfed me without relying on things like jumping or gore. Let me tell you, playing through Episode 2 at night while it was a hurricane was not my best idea at the time (or was it?). I currently have 3 playthroughs (and at least one more plan) and each one is so different from the other that I love it! Add to this beautiful art and music and this game is really the whole package. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

The gameplay of Scarlet Hollow :

Once you get started, you input your name and choose 2 of the 7 possible attributes for building your character, in addition to where you are from. This gives you 21 different character-building possibilities (7C2 = 21)! This alternate character actually produces the spice with which you interact with people with a specific dialogue or choice of action. From what I’ve seen so far, this will really change the way the story is told.

For example, in order to build my character in my role so far with the game, I chose the outline of “Talk with Animal” and not only managed to communicate intelligently with these creatures. He also offered insights into the more mysterious plot of the story. You quickly learn that in this small town not only do people know each other, but the animals also know each other.

The game plays out as you would expect from a visual novel – the story slowly unfolds. Depending on your previous choice, different options will open up and different parts of the game will be found different from the depth of your search. Make friends, make pet pets, and spread some worries so that everyone in town is really excited about you, even though everyone already knows who you are and you haven’t met any of them.

Controls

I played with just one mouse, the controls are easy to get used to. There are also keyboard controls and shortcuts, but they are not necessary.

Graphics

Well, the artwork is amazing. I just love the graphics of this game.

Music and sounds

The music is also very well performed. Their atmosphere, which complements the rest of the game through music, really captivates the audience. There is no voice acting, so you just have to get in the habit of reading them all, but I enjoy reading, so it’s no harm to me. Letters have a lot of unique features and internal sounds in my head. I know some people will want a full voice acting though, so I just wanted to let people know.

Conclusion

Scarlet Hollow stands out in terms of content quality, only it doesn’t have much content right now. So far, the story has been revived by a combination of its art, music, and writing that makes the individual characters truly unique and believable, even in the midst of all these supernatural events. But instead, they only add to the excitement and the sense of initiative and help attract the audience.
