|Game Title:||Peachleaf Pirates|
|Game Developer:||Dog Kiss Studio|
|Initial Release Date:||27 Sep 2021|
Washed on the beach without any recollection of how you got there, a whimsical cast of locals welcomes you to their wonderful paradise. Divide your time between adventure and home study, and discover that the island has a lot more than palm trees and parrots in this colorful RPG with point and click and form sim elements.
The game has three main elements: farming, fighting, and point-and-click adventure. I bought most of the games because of the first two, but the adventure part of it is still fun if sometimes a little difficult/confusing. In that sense, it is a little old-school and not very handy, depending on what you want from the game, good or bad.
The balance is decent, but it’s easy to break the economy if you focus only on farming or other things. Balance requires that you divide your attention so as not to develop too fast (although the exp system will slow you down).
Having skilled trees is really fun, and a lot of fun in the game is finding things. If you minimize/maximize by looking at the data or guides, the game will be much easier, so there’s probably not a ton of replayability beyond Spiderman.
- It has great humor, puzzles, and a whole mystery I look forward to discovering.
- I like the pixelated design and the island/pirate theme. It’s somewhat old and very charming.
- This is a game about a specific character (no character creation). I don’t mind because it fits the story and the character is funny, but it can surprise or disappoint anyone who expects the usual farming/crafting game types with character customization. ۔
- Overall the map looks quite small but I haven’t got that much yet so I’m sure it will open. There are definitely indications from other areas.
- You get a huge chunk of land for your property so I’m looking forward to modern crafts.
- Designed for game keyboard and mouse (this is clearly stated) but there is a controller option. Mapping is a bit of a habit because it’s weird but I really appreciate the giant for at least adding the option. This is a good opportunity to improve the bottom line.
- There are some bugs that should be expected, but I’m not too worried because the giant is quite responsive and is probably eliminating them. So far no one was able to send in the perfect solution, which is not strange. I’m sure the game will be better than just constructive feedback.
- Overall, I recommend playing this if you like silly humor, pirate themes, adventure game puzzles, and casual farming/crafting.
