LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 (LMSH2) is a fantastic game that is among the best LEGO games. It’s silly, it’s a cartoon, but it’s functional, which reminds me of watching Saturday morning cartoons. What makes LMSH2 stand out is that the story and setting is based on the comic books, rather than an older and stronger adaptation straight from the movies.

The level design is amazing! You will travel anywhere from Asgaard to Wakanda. The character selection is much larger than in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 1. Even if the X-Men and Fantastic 4 are missing from Episode 2, believe me, there are plenty of characters that make this game fun. Despite the many characters, each one feels unique and fun to play.

Wow, Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 is better than the original Marvel Super Hero 1. There is something special about Lego games, it is a very fun game. I’m only going on the second mission and I’m already completely hooked. It’s nice to have a game that the whole family can play. Anyway, I went and finished the second task. I will update as I get more into the game.

Definitely love this game. I have enjoyed playing it for 40 hours now. Much less frustrating than most previous lego games. A great and talented lineup of playable characters, including many not seen before in previous Marvel lego games (I’d love to see some special characters from previous games like Ultron). Several comic universes have allowed the game to feature other characters such as the old western versions of the Avengers and the 2099 versions of Spiderman and Captain America. The story is very well written and it was a pleasure to play with so much of TT’s brand of humor that they showed so much in their Lego games.

This game just gave me a feeling. It’s a huge step up from the first game and blew my expectations. From the humor to the fighting it’s just amazing. They have also introduced climbing on buildings now from scratch and developing web design characters! So there are many hub worlds to explore and discover. Everything looks great and they did a great job! If you are a Marvel fan or a Lego fan, get this game, and have fun with your kids and friends! You yourself will not regret it!

Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 is a unique Lego game. I’ve been avoiding Lego games because of how similar they are late, but this game is really new. There are a lot of good ideas and the fact that they are more inspired by the stories than the movie is great. The puzzles are a lot of fun to solve, the power consumption is much higher, and the character creation is much deeper. If you like Marvel, like Lego, and like beat ”em/puzzle solvers, then get this game.

Overall:

A very nice and fun game. It combines all the previous aspects of lego games in one. It has its issues but overall it runs well and is very nice. Not updating the same HUB world for the 3rd time, just wish some characters were more useful. Otherwise, it’s obviously not made for PC so it doesn’t have the same feel on console, it’s a great game and highly recommended. It doesn’t matter how old you are, you can enjoy this!
