Gearshifters Game is an amazing shoot with a huge custom car and explosions everywhere! After playing the demo version for a long time, I can already say that this is one of my favorite games this year. It’s just that almost no one knows about this gem.

I’m there again, playing the battle of the Power Rangers on the grid and wondering how people can like a game where the enemy AI can lock you in a 120 hit combo. This game pops up there. The first images of “Gear Shifters” and Fast & Furious come out again, Do you remember when half of the movie people shift gears and VROOOM noise? Well, when this game is only half of it.

Gameplay/Story

Drive one car, hit other cars, run around and provide packages to free the world. Ah, yes, the genre of 2D shooting games in cars. My last time was “A Good Day” and “Mega Race 2”. This game is really a good piece of fun. You start with a car that has two machine guns, which provides a package.

Everything is fine until the enemy comes in, shoot here and there, dodge your projectiles and shoot everything down. You’ll find a variety of enemies, ranging from landmines, lasers, rockets, or malicious Gatling gun towers to shoot at you in seconds. Once you have passed the 3 stages, the final boss appears.

And they’re perfect, each boss has his own pattern of avoiding and shooting. You could easily die if you make a mistake and this is one of the major problems in this game. Hitting once rearranges the whole process. The boss hit you? Now you have to play levels again and the boss does not have your health and energy refreshed after each stage. It is entirely possible to fight the boss with 1 HP.

• Crowds of enemies to hide clumsy AI
• Boss enemies can be really unfair with a single shot.
• Flying units can only be targeted with secondary weapons.
• No gear shifting.

Conclusion / Who will enjoy the game?

Gearshifters Download offers a great game with unique units and fun gameplay. The story took me back to the time when I stopped caring about it and the final and bass were so frustrating that I stopped playing. The variety of secondary and main weapons is very good, but in the end, these are the two weapons you will use.
