A game that was sick I am enjoying the hell out of it finally a cheap game that isn’t just super bad or holding money. This was definitely worth the money it feels me go back to the days of finding an awesome hard-to-find youtube clip. Insanely creepy and surreal but also maintains a pretty vivid story.

The game is pretty dang hard to get the good ending in as well the timing on the tongues gave my fingers one of the craziest rejections of what I wanted to do ever I was so used to timing up the tongues when I was trying to run through the 4 back to back tongues in case they were programmed to be a straight run through my fingers absolutely noped me from being so used to waiting on the timing and the fact that the punishment for losing at that stage is so harsh with this being the only channel that doesn’t have a keep in front of it.

That rejection of what I actually wanted to do gave me one of the worst feelings of defeat in a video game, to be honest. I can’t recommend this enough I hope the soundtrack sells up where it was also super good.

Compared to Yai Gameworks’ other games, I’d say Decaying Delicacy is low on the overall horror factor but dripping with air (although we get plenty of both, especially towards the end) . . . . The music and sound design are both very well done, and work perfectly with the setting. Expect more fear than a jump scare.

The story is a bit awkward and really takes a back seat to the atmosphere. We get bits and pieces about the character’s circumstances, but more emphasis is placed on their deteriorating mental state and their internal struggles. After playing through and completing all the current conclusions, you may be left with more questions than answers. With that in mind, the game plays more as an experience than a journey to discover reality–and as an experience, it was a fun ride.
