About This Game:

Hello PCFreeNow Users, I have a lot of experience in PC Gaming/ Playing games since 1996 so I can write better reviews than anyone on Cricket 24 Video Game. Today we will talk about the Cricket 24 Video Game and will share the experience. I will talk about the gameplay of this game. I am a big fan of Big Ant, Nacon, and Cricket22. I’ve bought these games on every platform including Xbox, Switch, and now Steam. Let’s start.

Cricket 24, so far, doesn’t feel as shiny as Cricket 22 but I’m sure it will eventually with ongoing patches/updates, etc from the devs. Cricket 24 on Steam is still a great game but I have to limit the FPS to 50 as it struggles to reach 60FPS. It is still a very great experience.

With a few minor errors, the fielder not picking up the ball and the batsman taking runs forever, he had to leave the game hard to recover. Sometimes, the timing of the shot was perfect but the animation would be out of sync and the player would lose the shot, etc. The gameplay lags behind the X factor I felt in 22 but I hope it gets better…. I hope the gamers here don’t bash the devs instead of providing some useful feedback to improve the experience for all of us.

A well-made game, the commentary is really realistic, the shots are even more realistic and the sound enhancement is great to make the matches more immersive to play. Already confirmed to be added soon! Great cricket game to get for sure!

Graphics are polished

• Grass blades are more realistic and mesmerizing.
• The pitch looks more lively.
• The sun with light flares makes it feel like you’re in the middle of the field.
• Lighting is a huge upgrade in Cricket 24 as afternoons make you actually feel like its afternoon.
• Addition of stadium night lights events like T20 World Cup 2022 (Australia)
• Awesome pyrotechnics upgrade.

Audio:

• The menu music playlist is nice and a mood booster.
• Stump sound that the developers asked for Finally here is the original stomping sound from Ashes 2023.
• Addition of Adam Gilchrist (Male), and Alison Mitchell (Female).
• Commentators with their place on commentary is the best part of Cricket 24 which I enjoy.

New Additions:

• Includes new batting style number 7 which is believed to belong to the great Sir Sachin Tendulkar.
• Added 4 new bowling styles:
• For Faster – Shoaib Akhtar, Trent Boult.
• For Spin – Mathia Muralidharan, Harbhajan Singh.
• Appearance of players with licensed players, especially from licensed IPL teams, resembling their real-life counterparts.
• Very good at pull shots, back foot defense mechanics, C24.
