Cotton reboot! There is a completely redesigned version of cotton. Fantastic Night Dreams, inventor of the sorceress shooting game released 30 years ago, with new features and sophisticated visual design.
Holy crap, after this recent patch, fixed all my problems with the Cotton Reboot PC port. Aside from the choice of keyboard icons or specific resolutions, this is probably the best way to play this game now, except for the price. Still, maybe get it on sale if you’re not a big shampoo and/or cotton nut like me. I changed my review to the suggested one, as I said I would if they fix the game. And they really did. My old review will be kept down for generations.
Pre-patch version overview:
As a big fan of Cotton, this game is absolutely fantastic (which has been the switch SE with a cup of tea since launch day, even, and this is where I spend most of my playtime), but I really can’t recommend this PC port unless it’s on sale. And/or this is your only option. This is an unacceptably bare bone for the 2021 PC port of the 2021 game.
720p lock, PlayStation controller icons (and some switches, like on the ranking screen) even using the keyboard, and full screen/window only in terms of graphics options. Which you can change only with Alt + Enter. While this is not a game that really requires graphics options, it is now common practice to have multiple resolutions, and it is frustrating to see when other versions of the game run at 1080p. It runs at least on my head, and it loads much faster than it does on the switch (a major reason I’m keeping this version honestly).
Even if the game itself is great and worth playing, $ 45 is too much for it, especially for PC porting work here. It’s a bit cheaper on PS4 (5) and Switches if you have those options, and if you have any options I would suggest taking it on one of them.

Features 16: 9 screens, newly designed graphics, and characters. - Time Attack Mode
The player competes for the online store in a limited time. (2 minute and 5-minute mode can be selected)
The game is great but it really hurts not to recommend this version. If this is your only way to play the game, then definitely go ahead, but wait for the sale. Or get it on the console if you have the option. I will edit this review if they ever solve the most obvious problems of this port, but I doubt they will ever fix it.
