Story:

This game picks up exactly where it left off. Abstergo Desmond remains a prisoner of the modern-day Templars, as he begins to understand the importance of his genetic memories – and the danger of the Apple of Eden falling into the wrong hands. Before he has much time to have children, the game picks up speed, taking Desmond out of Abstergo, and introducing him to modern-day assassins.

With their help, and their version of the Animus, Desmond offers himself to relive the experiences of other ancestors in hopes of becoming an assassin for his own cause. This time he finds himself in 15th-century Italy, at the height of the Renaissance, following the life of another ancestor, Ezio Auditore da Firenze. Ezio is a nobleman who finds himself betrayed by the city’s rulers and sets out on a quest for revenge.

Gameplay:

There’s a lot to be said for the mechanics and gameplay elements that Assassin’s Creed II introduced. Often, a sequel is simply a repeat of the first game, with a different story. Not so here. Ubisoft did an excellent job of immersing the player in what is now a believable world, retaining some of its original mechanics. The beautifully designed free-running system from its predecessor is back, only this time it allows the player to move faster: thus, cover more ground in less time, and exploration Make it much more satisfying. Targeting is a bit tricky, and you can’t always be sure you’ll get what you’re aiming for, but it’s something you can work around. From time to time, you may find yourself changing your approach and inadvertently aiming for something else, oops!

Graphics:

Assassin’s Creed is known for focusing heavily on its environments, so it’s only fair that the graphics are as flashy as they are.The sport provides lovely and fascinating visuals, and paints them in a practical light. It’s truely tough to criticize this thing of the game, due to the fact they did such an extraordinary job with adjusting the scenes to their setting.

The sound:

The music is beautiful, and the vocal tracks are considerably less annoying than their predecessors. The combination of killing a target to a dramatic musical score can only be described as a rewarding experience. Although it should be noted that the fully optional use of subtitles will help translate the integrated use of the Italian language. Overall the sounds make a contribution a lot to the ecosystem of the games, which is some thing I will proceed to respect in this specific franchise.
