My Gaming experience:

Hello PCFreeNow.COM Users, I told you many times and I am repeating my words that I have a lot of experience in PC Gaming/ Playing video games since 1996, so I can write much better reviews than anyone on this game Assassin’s Creed 1 Video Game. Let, Today we will talk about this Video Game and I will share my experience with everyone.

About This Game:

Originally published by Ubisoft in 2007, Assassin’s Creed is the underappreciated premise of the critically acclaimed franchise. It is an atmospheric historical fiction action adventure sandbox. Although this fluid and beautiful game is often met with mixed reviews from fans, it serves a very important purpose.

The first time I tried this game, I put it down very quickly as a result of getting bored, but this game is worth the investment. That is, if you’ve flashed any of its sequels. It is my strong and unwavering opinion that you would be doing the developers a huge disservice by leaving out the heart of a best-selling series. While the later games are more entertaining and have more appeal, one needs to play Assassin’s Creed to truly understand the broad groundwork laid for its successors.

Story:

The game focuses on the use of an immersive computer system called “Animus”, and its newest subject is Desmond Miles. Although Desmond may seem like an average bartender from an average world, he is actually a descendant of the legendary assassin Al-Tayr Ibn Laahd. Through the Animus, the player will witness the genetic memories of Desmond’s ancestors and the events between the two secret societies during the Third Crusade.

Overall, I felt that the story was weak, but it took some revolutionary steps toward creating a solid foundation for a fantastic series of sequels. While the story may seem confusing at first as the player nears the end, it is surprisingly well thought out, so give it a chance.

Gameplay:

As stated earlier, most of the game unfolds through the eyes of Desmond Miles as he relives Altair’s memories through the Animus. Inside Animus, the player will be introduced to a computerized interface that displays all the necessary information ranging from health to inventory and a third-person view of Altair.

For anyone unfamiliar with the franchise it’s important to know that Altaïr moves in real-time on a turn-based basis. Movement in the game is possibly its most notable feature which allows the player to scale buildings, grab ledges, jump across gaps and more. Assassin’s Creed likes to use a diverse set of active (high-profile) and passive (low-profile) perspectives, so if you manage to draw unwanted attention to yourself, you’re likely to get a weed. Piles will need to be found – fast – until you feel like fighting a horde of poor unfortunate souls (otherwise known as Guardians).

Finally, the last aspect I really feel is the Eagle Vision. In short, Eagle Vision is a seemingly inactive sixth sense in most humans, however it manages to aid Altair in his tasks throughout the game. When used, this ability will help the player to locate targets, predict the intentions of others and ultimately find their mark. I found this aspect quite interesting, and hope you enjoy using this ability as much as I did.

Controls:

Assassin’s Creed’s controls are extremely friendly. I used my 360 controller, and the game gave me excellent controller support. However, I tried playing the game with a mouse and keyboard setup, and I can’t recommend it to anyone. This game is best played with a controller. In general, targeting is a bit difficult, but it’s something you can work on.

Graphics:

As I said at the beginning of the review, I tried to play Assassin’s Creed once before. What I failed to mention was that my first attempt at an XBOX 360 was over 30 years ago. On the 360, the game looked shiny and beautiful. However, its real appeal has nothing on the dreamlike quality of graphics on PC. I can hardly believe this game was actually released in 2007 when I first booted it up. Sure, there are some technical glitches here and there, but the PC version definitely left a deep impression.

I feel like it’s an understatement to report that Assassin’s Creed’s ideas are breathtaking. In fact, they are polished, atmospheric, realistic, and life-like. It is absolutely fascinating to me how Ubisoft was able to present the world in this game.

Sound:

In Assassin’s Creed, you’ll hate the stupid beggar who manages to find you in every single town, who only has to tell you that “my family is sick and dying”. What I’m really trying to say, is that the constantly recycled soundtracks are just as repetitive as the gameplay. If it doesn’t bother you, I envy your patience. Encountering NPCs with a little more polish (and maybe a few more lines recorded by their voice actors) could be a much more enjoyable thing.

Overall:

Assassin’s Creed 1 Download is an amazing game. It can be repetitive at times, yes, but it gives you the freedom to find new ways to achieve your goals. I definitely recommend giving it a try.
