Ampersat is a fun game. It’s an arcade game like Gauntlet. When you open all the tabs to talk to NPCs and read all the tool descriptions, there is a nice sense of discovery. You can always just tell your luck and just buy something according to the cost of gold and the icon image.

It is a rogue-lite action-adventure game that is very similar to the old Zelda and Smash TV games. The art style is very unique and the game is really tight. (It’s so tough that I made a better technique; turn around when attacking with some weapons to destroy everything!)
Starting the game is a bit difficult because you are basically thrown right but it is also a fun part, where you can take your time with the game and discover things quickly.
The game certainly has a “one level to another” drug game nest; go to a dungeon, get XP to raise your level and spend money on equipment (armor and weapons), and upgrade the central world.

The game is a bit slow but really hard to play, and the music in the game is definitely amazing !! My only disappointment from the game that I can imagine is that the keys are not reconnected.

What can I say about this game that is invisible to the naked eye? From the graphics that take us back to the old 386 days to the commodore pattern sound that serenades you feel like you are in a digital Shire. If you are a child from the 80s you will be immediately drawn to this game. But, do not let deep nostalgia deceive you, there is a great game under the hood that will leave you on screen. I encourage you to play 3 levels without asking for a body copy for your collection on floppy or an old cartoon. As an 80s kid, I can tell you that the only thing this game is missing is my Atari joystick.

Really if you could just replace all the enemies of the characters with common imaginary minions like goblins, skeletons, etc., it would be very common. The fact that they are just special characters and characters makes your fight make it a bit unique. There are constant updates because you are always getting better weapons and ammunition. The perk system is very rewarding and there are definitely death sentences so you will usually stay on your toes. Ampersat is a fun little game, I highly recommend it
