There are two paths, one for Haru and one for Kuroko. So far, I’ve only done Haro’s way, and it took about two hours. I imagine Croco will have a similar time, perhaps less dependent on how similar their paths are. The story is fascinating, but not as profound as this one.
The graphics and gameplay are beautiful. Exploration is similar to the remake of Final Fantasy III – the game allows you to zoom in to help you see things that you might otherwise remember.In terms of combat, the game uses a version of the Active Time Battle System offered by Final Fantasy IV and includes hints of a limit brake system from Final Fantasy VII.

It sounds good and it feels good, although I think it would be nice to have the option to speed up regular attacks – sometimes the battles feel slower, especially if you like to grind the points of experience. The mini-games found in the game are beautiful and fun. Glad to see a JRPG that actually tried a mini-game again. That said, it would be nice if the game allowed you to continue playing on a completely safe file, in case the player loses the items they had during the search.
Really, the only problem I have with the game is that it’s so short – and unfortunately it’s a big problem when it comes to the 10 price tag. It is hoped that the developer will adjust the cost of this installment and lengthen the following episodes.
