As the title implies, LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga is an amalgamation of the previous two games, LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game and Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy. I refer to this as comparison versus contrast because the game is presented as one seamless experience, not as two separate and distinct ones. Travel Stories also added some extras that weren’t there in any of the previous standalone games.
Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga Best Adventure LEGO Video Game !!
Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga simply packs insanity into one easy-to-digest package. All the humor, humor, and jokes of a Lego game blended into this otherwise “take me seriously or not” Star Wars universe. The game was endless fun in 2010 and remains a much-loved gem all these years later.
Yes sure, the graphics are dated, the sound effects were janky AF even in 2009, and the game runs like dog water on modern systems… but this title is a work of art not to be missed period; it is more than the sum of its parts. It’s a constant trip down memory lane, not just your favorite Star Wars but your actual childhood when you originally played the game.
Collecting all the little costumes and red bricks to play tricks on (without having to pay for them in microtransactions) was an absolute blast. Everyone had their favorite character to play as, their favorite ship to navigate fleet missions with, and their favorite meme character they made themselves.
LEGO Star Wars – The Complete Saga follows the story of The Phantom Menace through Return of the Jedi. However, there is one key feature for the Traveller’s Tale games released at this time… No sound! Then they decided to start doing voice actors which added a different level of polish to their LEGO movie games… but I personally prefer the storytelling method in these older LEGO games. I think the story of the game might be easy to follow if you’re not already familiar with the star wars movies… but if you’re already familiar with the movies then there’s a lot of referential humor and weird ways to have iconic scenes. are made from movies.
This game can now be played with another person thanks to Steam Stream game features! The problem is that local co-op is a bit of a pain if you don’t work together (There is no split link, so everyone needs to stay on the screen and move in the same direction)
LEGO Star Wars – The Complete Saga is played from a third-person perspective, you move around and play as different characters from the Star Wars Movies, each with different abilities and weapons.
First, you need to play through the level Story mode, after your first story mode you can jump between Movies at will, but you still need to play through the story to unlock the story characters.
After you finish playing through the Story levels, you unlock the “Free, and Challenging Game”. Free-to-play allows you to actively switch between several different characters to fully explore a level. (In other words: You can’t win everything in story mode. How about you get R2-D2 up on that high rock until you can play as a High Jumper, then switch to R2.).
Challenge mode is a timed race where you run through the levels in every nook and cranny trying to find 10 blue-Minikit blocks before completing the level. This was actually one of the funniest parts of the game for me. But seeing as they are optional, I just won’t buy them. That’s why there is.
Overall the games presented here are very well designed and well executed. Even in his first races in LEGO games, TT was already on a winning formula that would be refined in later games. This game gets my recommendation for fans of simple puzzle-based adventure action games that are great for both young and old players, and mostly for being a cooperative game.
