Island Xtreme Stunts is a combination of different genres in one game. The game explores a LEGO-based environment in an open-world format: skateboard, drive, fly, and pilot various vehicles while doing stunts and tricks while taking on the bad guy, the Brickster. The actress is cast as Pepper Roni, a stuntwoman leading a major movie production on LEGO Island.

Although the player is free to go wherever he wants, there is a story behind the game which is divided into 25 missions. All stunt missions are done. Racing around the world in a third-person view, the controls are very basic and don’t offer the complexities of other stunts/trick games. It’s easy to pick and play, even for the youngest players, without worrying too much about which button combination will do which trick. Instead, the player can complete basic tricks with just a few keystrokes.

During missions, players can collect trading cards to unlock mini-games. Other features include building bricks for “Brickimals” and the ability to swap objects on LEGO Island.

While there is a lot to do on the island, from racing to surfing, this game is probably best suited for younger players due to the amount of replay between missions despite how much fun they have.

Xtreme Stunts does a lot of things right in terms of the actual core gameplay, but it definitely missed the mark in terms of replayability.
