Let, Today we will talk about this Video Game and I will share my experience with everyone.
About This Game:
If you love sailing, and more specifically Regatta Sailing, you’ll definitely be aware of SailGP, Foil Racing, and all the speed and excitement it can bring! One of the founders of KUDOS Interactive (so we already know we have our hands on Simulation & Racing). I’ve only invested 3.5+ hours and can confirm that they start at a very basic level and go up to INCREDIBLE levels, but not necessarily complicated because the basic principles are so simple to understand; For ONE Person to carry out all tasks on a boat technically and efficiently at the same time.
AUDIO and Graphics
Most of the time the sound is good, I wouldn’t say Immersive, but the diving looks great. I mean graphically it looks crisp, sharp, and clear…it’s good, but water splashes in your face, and some of the water-related animations just aren’t good enough at this point.
Problems:
A Discord channel needs IMHO a place where like-minded people can gather like there isn’t an ATM.While I found the manuals to be detailed and accurate, I found that they were often WAY too rough overly ambitious, and a bit inaccurate. There seems to be no AI seasonal career mode for offline enjoyment and practice, which is something most players would like to see. I couldn’t find anyone to compete in YET, or there doesn’t seem to be an AI competitor to compete with, or any controllers to add realism, but this is in early access.
Overall:
I love this Regatta style race and I’m glad it’s so realistic, there are potential bags for it!While it’s still early access, there’s still a lot I’d like to see improved, and the addition of a career mode or AI season would also be nice for the experience.Of course you can race with assists, which I think I’ll have to do for a while because foil balance is a REAL challenge!It can be great fun for the experienced and educated hobbyist, but if you want to become a skilled Manual Sailor, be prepared to learn and work hard on the job.If you HOST your own server you can open clashes, I think you should have at least 1 dedicated clash server, maybe not a HUD for really good sailors?
