Dungeon Alchemist is a wonderful mapping program! I have had a son since, and I am very happy with everything he did. It would also be amazing as a basement building system, but they just keep adding more and more features! While it’s still in early access, it’s already really active, and I’m 100% sure they’ll give us everything they promised and more!
It is marketed as a tool for fast mapping, but don’t be fooled, stupid DMs can take hours to complete their maps. It’s already a great tool and will only get better if it continues to grow.
Absolutely amazing mapping tool with incredible options for creativity and customization! And it has export options that create a .json file with image to automatically create wall and lighting options in VTTs like Foundry and Roll20! This means you don’t have to peek with tiring lighting and wall tools. It does it for you!
Pros:
- Get rid of really fast and easy rooms and tap the map together in minutes.
- The export in Roll20 and Forge was easy to import and get up and running.
- Exporting files for sharing maps is easy.
- There is already a large, high-quality library of assets to use for mapping.
- Massive improvements in UI, UX.
- The giant team is really responsible and engaged with the community.
Cons:
- This is early access. There are still many bugs that can cause instability.
- Objects always appear on the map grid, which is fine, except when you want things in the right place.
- Limited to fantasy-style assets (castles, basements, villages). Cooperation for the steam workshop should help, but “coming soon”
Train tools and rendering can slow things down, even on pretty beautiful systems.

This is a very powerful mapping tool! Highly recommend it to all RPG fanatics. As a game developer and computer graphics idiot, it was great to get Kickstarter updates for this project and see the amount of work the developers put into it. It also has the potential for future growth. Thank you so much for bringing Dungeon Alchemist to us!

How to Install Dungeon Alchemist For PC?
- Extract the file using “Winrar”.
- Open the “Dungeon Alchemist Game” folder.
- Click on the “Setup” and Install the Game.
- Now go to the extracted folder and open the “P2P” folder and copy and paste into the installed folder.
- Click on the “DungeonAlchemist” icon to play the game.
