Cthulhu pub is a fun game to play. You can do some building and designing, look after your food, and then watch them get attacked by human heroes. Also, there are giant god creatures that create and extract parts of your building for you to rebuild or adapt later.

The game is tough but I fully expect to learn its systems and overcome the challenges. I didn’t find any bugs with the game during my first hour, but there are obviously some unfinished and missing things, as expected with any Early Access release.

This game was released early in a bomb shelter by a Ukrainian developer on the day Russia invaded Ukraine. Check out the game and support it!

This game is not finished yet so we cannot give a full review. We still recommend that anyone who can afford it buy this game to support an indie Ukrainian community that has become a refugee due to the current conflict. Please show them some love and support. Good proof of concept. I bought it with a heart knowing that due to the state of the developers, the game may never be finished. There are some annoying mechanics like not being able to select building pieces so there is always something to buy on the cursor.

I don’t know if there was or is a plan to expand the building area because, as far as my game allowed me, you can only expand the starting area by one more space in two directions. Are these flaws a bug or a feature? I have no idea. I don’t regret my purchase, but whether or not this extremely challenging game around the heart is worth $10 depends entirely on how you feel about buying an early access game, for supporting a developer in a war zone, which may or may not be completed at all. Just know that this is the risk you are taking if you decide to buy this title. Overall Recommended Game !!
