In Amid Evil, like most 90 shooters, there is light instead of story content. Basically, some kind of evil has invaded many circles and it is up to a select fighter to clear these circles of evil, find its source and eliminate it. It’s really the simplest story you can think of, but the game doesn’t really need much. In terms of dialogue, it has long insights, no text, and very little. It’s just you, your weapons, your enemies, and the gameplay.In Amid Evil, his fantasy plays out like an imaginary earthquake, despite the revelations. No RPG mechanics in sight, just pure action with occasional puzzles. Puzzles are usually solved by turning your body into buttons until a sequence is completed, so don’t expect your brain to do a massive workout. Much of the focus is on pure warfare.

The main gameplay involves the level of terror, moving from room to room, and clearing the bad guys. The real strength of the game lies in its surface design. Each circle you visit has its own theme and style that goes through everything in it. Both in terms of its surface design, visual style, and enemy selection. If you find each event very unique, it makes the game extremely fun, provided you are not sure what to expect around the corner.
Overall the difficulty of the game feels really fair and it not only requires skill but also sometimes demands. Especially in the final event where the choice of health is extremely rare or hidden and you have to rely on your abilities to survive. But it is forgivable to add difficulties near the end of the game where the player should be very familiar with the mechanics of the game. I like that no enemy uses hit scan weapons, so every estimate that comes to you can be dodged which is more fruitful for skilled players.
