Alchemic Cutie Video Game is not Stardew Valley. Perhaps more irrationally, this is a Slime Rancher than Stardew Valley; But it’s more of a graveyard keeper than a slam rancher! My time in Portia is longer than Graveyard Keeper and Stardio Valley, but my time in Portia is no more than Slim Rancher.
Basic work is there and it’s a really good game, but it requires a lot of work. The game screams early access but they decide it’s a full release for some reason?
The graphics are at the top in beauty. It’s very dynamic and cool. The cycle of day and night really makes the world feel alive, and the pixel art moments are invaluable for the characters’ faces.
The mechanics
The mechanics are also very unique, allowing you to find many different options that you can combine in an effort to complete your weekly tasks. Quests are available for your time to play. And while some people may feel overwhelmed, this leads you to more game learning goals.
You have a good gameplay mechanic buried deep in the jelly system: more needs to be done. However, it lacks the quality of life that can turn it into a whole game, and it is buried under the restorative nature of the rest of the game. And, as far as I can tell at least in the early game: there is no need for development to handle the mud, as one would do to open the mud shrines.
In Stardew Valley, you use the funds to buy crops. Sell your farm and these crops for a profit. Then you buy more, sell more, spread the word so you can sell more. I’m not bringing it here to compare Alchemic Cutie to Stardew Valley, but because it is the backbone of any casual semiotic type of game.

I love this game! I look forward to collecting games and open worlds that have a story and it checks all my boxes! The jellies are cute (and it breaks me down how you can just tie them to a balloon and watch them float!) And the characters are all beautiful and illuminate an already fascinating world! I can’t wait to find more combinations of jelly and dive further into the story!
