Kaiju Wars Video Game has fun humor throughout the dialogue that I really enjoyed. So many beautiful little details that make the whole experience enjoyable!

The story is interesting and the graphics, as well as the dialogue, bring it to life in a very beautiful way. The game does not get complicated at the same time and the “defeat” of Kaiju is not objective because they can not be killed. This is why the player basically needs to slow down the loss of the game.

The main characters are all unique and loved in their own way. Some follow established tropics (but need not think it’s a bad thing) and generally do not take their game too seriously.
There are many features that encourage players to play the game again (e.g., community maps, testing of different units or researchers), which I appreciate. Another thing I think is worth mentioning is that it runs easily; tower on my laptop that works with life support.

A nice, unique tactical game. I do not know how I have ever seen a game where my units are so damaged … spent. Placing zebras in the way of large monsters has not been so much fun. And the game brings out the kaiju-based personality – those are pretty cool things. I do not think it will be for everyone (and I do not think it is trying to be), but it really’s a place of kaiju-tactical warfare. For anyone who loves tactical war games, it’s worth trying what makes it different.

Pros:

• Lots of different units, science, and project cards to play and test.
• Large pixel art graphics.
• Music and Environments that fit the theme of each world, including buildings. (They are based on real lifeworlds, for example, Floatio = Tokyo, Japan, and Bomb Bay = Mumbai, India)
• You can create your own levels and send them to the workshop for everyone to play.
• 5 Different Types of Kaijus with different skills that make your style of play difficult.
• Proper writing is the balance between humor and serious knowledge.
• Difficulty Levels for better competition and Freeplay Mode where you can upgrade your depot.

Cons:

• Although the owner has a cancellation feature, if you choose the wrong project card, in no way can you cancel the option?
• Some levels are too long, especially the last one, for example, Battle for Floatio which takes more than 10 minutes to complete, there must be a save feature option.
• A level preview is displayed before you start the level. But the main problem is that “Choose your scientist” and “Choose Project Cards” block your view and there is no way to close them. This makes it difficult if you want to set up the main laboratory. (Luckily, the camels said they would add more)

Play a Kaiju movie in this 2D stellar strategy game about a spin-off as a (hopeless) soldier. Build buildings and defend your city with artillery tanks, jets, and more as the devastating kaiju grows stronger with each attack.

If you love Kaiju games and strategy this is just something special for you. It has an amazing sound, is a really fun game, and has some very nice extra features like links to Kaiju movies that will be playing in the future! 10/10 will buy again

So some thoughts after my first 6 hours. I love the flexibility that hand-building brings, along with the easy learning but mastery of challenging strategy. The color palette is fun and easy to understand, and there are also nice levels of humor. Each of the monsters and the environment brings new challenges: For example Furry Armadillo + Water, or Big Donk + Jungle.
