Silent Hill 4 the main team in the room is the highest height and lowest bottom of the silent quadrilogy. Any self-confident horror gamer should try this, but you have to handle some questionable design choices yourself. Any awesome story, setup is one of the best in the period. You, Henry Townshend, got up in your room one day and found your door locked from the inside. There is no key. You can look out the windows, but you can’t open them. The only way to get out is through a big hole in your bathroom. This hole will take you to alternative realities of nightmares and return to the relative safety of your apartment.

You don’t actually go to the city of Tytler, but the story of this game is still firmly attached to it, so don’t listen to the clear thinker that this is not a “real” SH game. Animal designs are perfect for most parts, especially the twins who see your skin pointing at you for the 50th time. The story may not be told as beautifully as SH2 and 3, but it has some very strange themes and uses the serial killer concept to its full potential.
When the game starts with great interest, it becomes frustrating by becoming a slug full of incredibly frustrating mechanics from the middle of the game to the very end. Invincible enemies that take you to the surface (and never stop), clumsy fighter, boring weapons, limited inventory system (which tries to copy resident evil but fails miserably). The puzzles in the room work quite well (however the first section), and is the strongest / scariest part of the game. Unfortunately, that’s not enough to save the game from leaving a disappointing taste in your mouth.
