The artwork of Pankapu is beautifully designed and the backstory is amazing. The platforming and puzzle aspects are very entertaining. Other studies found the owners to be weak, but for me, the owners were just the right level of challenge. Other reviews were disappointing that they also had to buy episode 2 separately, but when I bought the game (full edition) it had both episodes.

However, this is not a perfect 10. After dropping a major bomb at the very end and defeating a big boss, the game ends easily and is described as a credit roll that the next story will have to wait another night. I checked around the forums to see if Episode 3 is here and the answer is that if the sequence continues, it won’t follow Pankapo’s adventures. It’s really frustrating that the game stands on a hill and that’s it. However, I would still recommend this game. Beautiful artwork and fun puzzles are the game’s biggest sellers, and it was extremely rewarding to collect all the pieces of memory to unlock the backstory.
