Egglien provides a simple premise but nails the execution; with responsive controls, throwback graphics, and a catchy soundtrack, it offers way more fun than you might expect at first glance.

The story is a little hokey but throws back to arcade platformers like New Zealand Story, where the plot is just a simple vehicle to give you a few levels and then give you a few more levels. that’s it. With a playing time of just two hours, Egglien is short but sweet and represents an interesting first foray into game development. I have no doubt we will see even bigger and better things from Alfie Wilkinson in the years to come.

A nice casual 2D platformer with easy controls for jumping and shooting. 40 levels and 5 bosses. You can shoot your ground fire during the jump. A particularly good experience for old-school players.

Interesting and short. The gameplay is simple: eliminate all enemies by shooting a limited supply of eggs that recharge as soon as you touch the ground. The twist is that you can only shoot down. Even with an occasionally stubborn boss, the game can be completed in an hour.

I don’t always write reviews, but I felt like I had to for this game. The game is a pretty simple action platformer with fun mechanics and the occasional fun boss battle. The first Spacespy game is a huge success in my opinion. The games are fairly short, lasting anywhere from 1-2 hours, but fun all the way through. The music beats, the sound effects work well and the art is excellent. Overall a very good game.
