The Bladestar Game involves collecting small blue balls to beat the waves. There are a variety of power-ups for your quest, and different enemies will try to kill you and get in your way as soon as you pick things up. The game starts out very easy but really starts to get tough around World 3.

This is a shooter that has an old-school feel despite the beautiful 3D graphics. The most important thing in a game like this is control, and happily, you control your ship very well. The movement felt natural and I was able to quickly locate the weapon mechanic. Your plane can only take one hit. No life bars, just one hit. You can lift the shield, and you get extra life … but every moment this mechanic makes your seat very edge. Owners are an interesting variation of the speed from normal waves, but because of how easy it is to know, you need to know their pattern quickly.
All of this, I felt like I was really far from playing this game, and I already knew I was happily making my way through the giant pack of green aliens. The art is great. The voice acting works but does not stand out, and was suitable for the style of music.
Overall I had a blast playing this game. This is different from your normal shooter. It reminds me of Galaga more than anything released in the last 10 years. Very satisfied by blowing up enemies.
