ALONE is a short indie game created by a small Korean development team. You play as Yeongchul whose routine after work at home is interrupted by an undercover caller who threatens to kill him and confuses his electricity bill. You need to help a man named Yeongchul get stuck inside his house, and search the house to protect himself from suspects.
This game is less than a dollar and obviously, for an RPG game, I enjoyed it enough. There were many opportunities for fear but in the end, as a medium, she relied on text to convey fear. If you are not a big fan of visual novel games or RPG genres, you may need to live up to your expectations. The translation is a bit confusing in some parts of the game – which sometimes adds humor to the narrow parts of some scenes.

I have so many questions about my main character’s living arrangements, such as: where does he sleep if he always works? Office? Why can’t he walk to the bathroom before bed, if he only needs an hour to work? Is there a petrified spaghetti plate on the floor next to the perfect table that is used? Why is his closet so far from his bed? All the perfect secrets that no single human being can answer.
One of its elements is not unique but still, I did not feel like I was wasting my time because of the way the puzzles are created and the way the game works, such as returning your mind to the meaning in a room with a dim light. Because of the price I paid for it, I had a great time!
Many of the potential secrets that were initially created are quickly uncovered when conflict begins and you are given control of the hero, but the premise and tension created by the time limit with managing your “health” are good.
Conclusion:
This game is really fun and definitely worth the game – especially for the price. While English is sometimes a bit fluent, it does not deviate from the general experience. I especially enjoyed the concept of a mind bar that can make an impact on the game. If you love RPGMaker horror games, I highly recommend playing them ALONE !!
